Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern your participation in tours and events organised by A&S Veterans Bike Tours & Events ("A&S Veterans", "we", "us", "our"). By booking a tour or event with us, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before making a booking.
2. Bookings & Deposits
All bookings are subject to availability and are not confirmed until you receive written confirmation from A&S Veterans. A non-refundable deposit will be required to secure your place. The deposit amount will be communicated at the time of booking. Full payment is due no later than 60 days before the tour departure date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations must be made in writing to asveteransbiketours@gmail.com. The following cancellation policy applies: • More than 60 days before departure: deposit forfeited, balance refunded in full. • 30–60 days before departure: 50% of total tour cost retained. • Less than 30 days before departure: no refund. A&S Veterans reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any tour due to insufficient bookings, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, a full refund of all monies paid will be issued.
4. Eligibility & Requirements
All participants must: • Hold a full, valid motorcycle licence appropriate for the country of riding. • Be a minimum of 18 years of age. • Hold valid travel insurance that covers motorcycle touring, personal accident, and medical expenses. • Ensure their motorcycle (if bringing their own) is roadworthy, correctly insured, and compliant with relevant regulations. • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times while riding.
5. Health & Fitness
Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically and mentally fit to undertake motorcycle touring. A&S Veterans reserves the right to refuse participation to any rider deemed unfit to ride safely, including but not limited to those under the influence of alcohol or drugs. No refund will be issued in such circumstances.
6. Liability
Motorcycle touring carries inherent risks. Participation is entirely at your own risk. A&S Veterans, its founders, guides, and associates accept no liability for: • Personal injury, death, or loss sustained during a tour. • Loss of or damage to personal property. • Costs arising from cancellation, delay, or curtailment caused by circumstances beyond our control (including weather, political unrest, or mechanical failure). Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
7. Insurance
It is a condition of booking that all participants hold comprehensive travel insurance covering motorcycle touring activities, emergency medical evacuation, trip cancellation, and personal liability. Proof of insurance may be requested prior to departure. A&S Veterans accepts no responsibility for any costs arising from inadequate insurance cover.
8. Conduct & Safety
All participants are expected to ride responsibly, obey local traffic laws, and follow the instructions of the tour guide at all times. A&S Veterans reserves the right to remove any participant from a tour without refund if their conduct is deemed dangerous, disrespectful, or detrimental to the group.
9. Itinerary Changes
Whilst every effort is made to adhere to the planned itinerary, A&S Veterans reserves the right to alter routes, accommodation, or schedules where necessary due to weather, road conditions, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances. No compensation will be payable in such cases.
10. Photography & Media
By participating in an A&S Veterans tour, you consent to photographs and videos being taken during the tour for use in our marketing materials, website, and social media channels. If you do not wish to be photographed, please notify us in writing before the tour begins.
11. Data Protection
Your personal information is collected solely for the purpose of administering your booking and communicating with you about your tour. We will not share your data with third parties except where required by law or necessary for tour operations (e.g. accommodation providers). 12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
